Please telephone/text +44 7518 440 466 or email: hello@hypnocoaching.me if you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment.

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees.

Confidentiality, Data Protection

Please be assured that your privacy is very important to me and that I fully comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Therapy and coaching is a space of deep trust and total acceptance, therefore there is absolute confidentiality. None of your information from within our working relationship is shared outside of our working relationship without express permission. All client data is securely stored by me, Stepanka Kuralova Hypnotherapy and I am the only person who has access to it. I am obliged to keep client data and therapy records for 5 years from the last session with a client. This is a requirement for my insurance. After that period all client data and records are securely destroyed.

Client data is never shared with any third-party companies. Your contact details will not be used for anything other than for me to communicate directly with you. It will not be sold or distributed to any third party. This includes client email addresses, which will not be added to any mailing lists, unless you choose to receive my own newsletter. I will never share your information with anyone else without your written permission unless required by law or in the event that I become worried about your safety or the safety of others around you. In that case, I would need to share details of this with the relevant authorities. These limitations mostly concern risk of serious self-harm, harm to others, and child protection issues.

Clients have the right to request a copy of data held about them, for the data to be amended (if wrong), however, the data cannot be deleted, as it must be held for 5 years to meet insurance requirements.

On some occasions, I am required to contact your Doctor (with your permission) and to obtain an agreement from them to use hypnotherapy as part of your treatment. If this is requested, it will be stored the same way as other data held. I have the right to refuse therapy, if you have a contraindication which may affect it.

My site uses a tool which collects information on the pages you visit and passes elements of this to search engines to assist them in indexing my site.

I have monthly meetings with my supervisor. This is a requirement for all therapists and it is recommended by all professional bodies and societies. While I might discuss cases I am working on, I will never reveal any identifying information on any of my clients.

Appointments via Skype/Zoom

Appointments last approximately 60 minutes, but please reserve extra time just in case we overrun. Give yourself enough time after the session as on some occasions you might feel a little sleepy or nicely relaxed after hypnosis.

It is important that you are in a place where you are not going to be disturbed. I prefer working with clients with them sat upright in a comfortable chair. You might have seen or been to a therapist who have their clients laying down or in a reclining chair, but I believe that for you to be sat upright in a comfortable chair will help you to stay aware of my voice and the suggested ideas and also you are more likely to stay engaged in the process.

Please use your earphones/headphones so that we eliminate distractions.

Our first session might last a bit longer as I need to gather more information about you and your therapy goal. This is something that we will discuss during our free initial call. We might also discuss in depth what hypnosis is, and how it works, if not covered previously.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU ARE COMFORTABLE DURING OUR SESSIONS, SO THEREFORE CHOOSE A COMFORTABLE SEAT, USE PILLOWS IF NECESSARY. IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOUR PHONE/LAPTOP IS PLACED IN A WAY THAT I CAN SEE YOUR FACE CLEARLY DURING THE WHOLE SESSION AND YOU CAN SEE ME AS WELL. (your hands should be relaxed, so holding your phone won't work)

I recommend that you have a journal and pen ready, so that you can write down important information/further recommendations etc.

Client’s and therapist’s responsibilities

Hypnotherapy and coaching are a collaborate process. You will be required to be 100% committed and motivated. In return, I will do my best to help you, I will support you and guide you on your journey. Our work together will involve therapeutic tasks that you are expected to do between sessions as well as other techniques that I teach you to ensure that we really do get the changes firmly embedded in your mind and that you progress even when we are not together.

You are also encouraged to get in touch with me between session, via Facebook, email etc. I am here to support you.

Code of ethics and professional practice

I carry full professional, public and product liability insurance and I am a registered member of the Professional Hypnotherapy Network (the PHN), which is a leading professional independent association and registration body for hypnotherapists. I accept and follow the principles set forth within the Code of Conduct and Ethics, as laid down by the PHN. A copy of this can be found on the PHN Website.

Conduct

I have the right to refuse a client for therapy or coaching, if they behave in an inappropriate way or if they have consumed alcohol or taken drugs.

Have you got questions? Does anything need clarification?

Please let me know, there is no such thing as a silly question.

My email is: hello@hypnocoaching.me or leave your questions here.

I cannot wait to work with you.
